What is a tea latte?
A tea latte is strongly brewed tea topped with steamed, frothed milk, the tea version of a café latte. The best-known is the London Fog: Earl Grey with vanilla and steamed milk, a Vancouver classic.
How to make one at home
Brew a concentrate: 2 teaspoons (about 5 g) of tea in 120 ml of water just off the boil for 4–5 minutes, then strain. Heat and froth 180 ml of milk (a milk frother or a jar shaken hard, then microwaved, both work), pour it over the tea and sweeten to taste. For a London Fog, add a little vanilla syrup.
